I had a good stay at Holiday Inn Express in New Iberia. The check-in process felt welcoming, and the staff were friendly. I loved the breakfast options. there were plenty of hot items like eggs and sausage, which I didn’t expect. The room was clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day. I appreciated the microwave and fridge in the room too. However, there was a strong musty smell initially in my first room, which was overpowering. I asked for a different room, and the front desk staff were understanding and helpful. The second room was much better. The hotel is undergoing some renovations. The elevator was out during part of my stay, which was inconvenient since I had to walk up three flights of stairs. Still, I felt safe in the hotel, and the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions. Overall, my experience was positive, but the hotel could use a few upgrades and fixes to get rid of lingering odors and improve the elevator situation.

The breakfast spread had fresh rolls and perfectly cooked biscuits. One small hiccup was when we asked for additional towels, it took a bit to get them at check-in.

The room was just renovated, fresh paint, clean, and those beds? Melt into them, like seriously, best sleep I've had away from home. Breakfast was decent, the attendant was friendly and tried hard, even offered to make me pancakes, which was a nice touch.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for in hospitality.

This hotel is a great base for exploring New Iberia with family. We visited the nearby Tabasco factory tour, where the kids loved seeing the bottling process. The hotel was comfy, with spacious rooms and a nice outdoor pool for the little ones.
In my wife’s opinion, breakfast options could be more varied for families.

Comfortable Queen Suite with two spacious beds and a sofa that fit three people easily. The breakfast offered a solid buffet selection, including delicious sausage gravy. Accessibility features were adequate during my stay. However, the smoking area directly outside the entrance created an unpleasant first impression. It's also worth noting that the prices seemed a bit higher compared to nearby hotels, but the value for the comfort and amenities makes it worthwhile.

Had an awesome group vacation here! We explored the Tabasco factory, learned a ton, and then enjoyed a self-guided tour of the wildlife areas with exotic birds and gators. The hotel was a perfect base, featuring a refreshing outdoor pool and a fitness center. Breakfast was solid too. Definitely a spot I'd recommend for the vibe.
One small hiccup was when we asked for additional towels. it took a bit to get them at check-in. A heads up to future guests, don't hesitate to ask for what you need!

A little hiccup with signage around the hotel—it needs some love with a few letters missing.

The hotel had a nice atmosphere with clean rooms, and friendly staff. However, the towels were dingy and there were cleanliness issues in the bathroom. Breakfast was decent but lacked quality in some items, especially the sausage and biscuits, which were hard and reheated.
